What is the Special Event Deposit for, and is it refundable?
Yes, the deposit is refundable if after your event the facility has not sustained any damage or doesn’t need additional cleaning on the part of the parks department. If there are problems after your rental the maintenance expenses and man hours will be subtracted from your damage deposit ($30 per man hour). If damage expenses exceed the amount of your deposit the remaining expenses will be invoiced to the event coordinator. Common problems that are found and can be avoided include: trash on the ground, broken sprinkler heads, punctured sprinkler lines, grass damage, and broken electrical outlets.
