Tom Heslep was elected to Place 5 on the City Council in May of 2019. Prior to serving on City Council, he served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for almost three years. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Lewisville Education Foundation and is also an active member of the Cross Timbers Rotary Club.
Tom is a native Texan, having been born and raised in Dallas. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1981. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Tom is the Chief Lending Officer for Texas Republic Bank.
Tom, his wife Kelly and their two children have been proud residents of Highland Village since 1991.
