Fireworks Prohibited in Highland Village

Fireworks Prohibited

Residents are reminded that city ordinance prohibits the possession or discharge of fireworks within the city limits.  Fireworks found within the city limits of Highland Village may be confiscated, and violators could be fined up to $2,000 for each offense.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates on average, 180 people go to the emergency room every day with fireworks-related injuries in the month around the July 4th holiday.  We appreciate your cooperation in complying with the ordinance.
