CoServ Street Light Conversion Program - Update

CoServ logo

We want to thank Highland Village residents on their feedback regarding the new LED streetlights in parts of the city. Please know that CoServ is not replacing all of the lights in the city with the new LED bulbs that have caused some concern. We have only focused on a small portion of the city and as we continue to check these lights individually, we will adjust or replace the bulbs to meet the proper specifications. We have spoken to the city and determined that lights in residential areas that can be adjusted or replaced, will be taken care of accordingly. Any lights that directly illuminate high pedestrian or road traffic areas will remain as installed.

We always strive to provide our members with the best and most efficient service as possible, so we ask that you remain patient as our crews continue to inspect and address each light individually. Our plan is to have a resolution to this issue as soon as possible.

If you have additional questions, please contact us at Thank you again for your understanding. (Updated 1/20/2020)

CoServ is currently in a phased conversion program changing all street lights from a yellow sodium to LED to make them as safe and efficient as possible. There have been questions raised by residents and CoServ provided the following statement:

CoServ apologizes for any inconvenience our LED upgrades to certain street lights have caused. Over the past few weeks we have adjusted the lighting throughout Highland Village to make it as safe and efficient as possible.

Please know that our technicians are in the process of adjusting residential street lights and addressing the rest though various measures. We appreciate your patience as we work to determine the best solution for this issue moving forward.
