Incident Series Descriptions:

  • 100's - Fire incidents include building, cooking, chimney, trash, grass, and vehicle fires, as well as all other types of fire.
  • 200's - Overpressure, Explosion, Overheat with no fire include rupture from steam, overpressure from air, gas, or chemical reaction.
  • 300's - Rescue & EMS include motor vehicle accidents, extrication, search and rescue, lock-in, medical assists, and EMS standby.
  • 400's - Hazardous with no fire include incidents without fire, including gas spills or leaks, electrical overheating, arcing and shorts, explosive removal, vehicular accident clean-up, down power lines and other hazards.
  • 500's - Service calls include non emergency lock-out, water leak, smoke or odor investigation, animal problems, lift assists and assisting police or other governmental agencies.
  • 600's - False alarm include malfunctioning smoke and CO detectors, accidental alarm activation, and other false alarms, as well as calls where apparatus are cancelled while in route.
  • 700's - Good intent include calls where no incident found upon arrival, smoke scare, and other related calls.
  • 800's - Severe weather and natural disasters include flood assessments, lightning strikes without fire, and severe weather/natural disaster standby.
  • 900's - Special Incident Type includes citizen complaints and special incidents.
