Highland Village Police have a new program to help reduce vehicle burglaries! The “Stop Thief” bright yellow placards are hung on the vehicle rear-view mirror when parked. They tell criminals that the vehicle was not left with valuables inside.
The free hangars serve as a reminder to vehicle owners to secure their vehicle, remove any valuables, and to be proactive in preventing crime. The hangars are easily removed prior to vehicle operation.
