Welcome!Senior All Star Programming has returned to The Robert & Lee DuVall Center. Our goal for reopening is to create a safe environment for everyone to gather and interact with each other while social distancing. Please read to see what changes and new measures have been put in place to enhance the safety of our building.
Overview of Reopening of Senior Activities
The following activities and programs have returned:
- All-Star Stitchers
- Game Day (Limited to Dominoes and Dice Games)
- Tai Chi
We encourage individuals to bring their own drinks in a closed container. During Phase 1, please do not bring your own snacks or meals. The kitchen island will be closed during this time.
The following will return in later phases to be determined:
- Card Games
- Communal Coffee Area
- Holiday / Event Parties
- Library Book Exchange
- Lunch & Learns
- Meals on Wheels
- Poker Games
In efforts to make The Robert & Lee Duvall Center a safer place for gathering, the following items will be discontinued:
- Buffet Style Serving For Parties, Events and Meals on Wheels
- Communal unpackaged Snacks
- Monthly Bread Pick-up from Panera
We are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation of maintaining 6 feet of separation.
Room 117 (Card Room) - We will have 3 tables set-up with four Chairs at each table. Max Occupancy: 12
Room 118 (Library) - Will have two tables set-up with four chairs at each table. Max Occupancy: 8
Room 119 (Pickleball) - Max Occupancy is 10 people. Waiting area chairs will be separated 6 feet apart.
This set-up will allow individuals to play and engage in conversation 6 feet apart. We kindly ask everyone to adhere to our social distancing layout. Please do not move chairs or combine tables. We ask everyone to wear a mask or face covering, wash and sanitize hands frequently, and practice social distancing.
Lets Stay Healthy Together!
We will provide cleaning supplies to clean the tables before and after use. As well, we will provide hand sanitizer in the common room areas. We encourage everyone to help fight germs by washing their hands frequently, using hand sanitizer, and cleaning the equipment, tables, chairs, and materials used.
