Residential Building Permit
Commercial - New Construction Permit
- Application
- (3) Sets Plans
- (2) Foundation Plans
- (3) Site Plans
- (2) Tree surveys - size, species, signature, and structure with legend indicating trees to be removed and trees staying
- (2) Drainage plans with signature
- (2) copies - Engineers Letter
- (2) Truss Plans (if using truss)
- ICC Evaluation Report & Installer Certification (if using Stucco)
- (4) Pictures of Lot - property lines (make sure address on pictures)
- If brick on wood - need to be engineered
- Residential energy Code Review Sheet along with appropriate data
- Application
- (2) Stamped Surveys with location/height of wall
- If 4' and over in height - require construction plans prepared by a Certified Professional Engineer
- When complete (4' and over) need engineers letter
- Application
- (2) Stamped Surveys with location and height of fence marked
- Total Linear footage of fence being built
- Application
- (3) Sets Plans with Electric Co. stamp
- (3) Stamped Surveys showing pool and setbacks
- Notarized letter stating where dirt will be moved to outside City limits
- Letter signed by homeowner and pool contractor. Pool/Fence requirements

- (2) Sets Fire Sprinkler Plans
- On stand alone buildings - Need architectural site plan on either .dwg or .jpeg file.
- Application
- (3) sets plans - stamped engineered plans mechanical, electrical, plumbing
- Energy Code Compliance Sheet - ComChek and/or supporting documentation
- TDLR letter
- Asbestos survey
- Each subcontractor, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, must be registered and also pull their own permit
