William Meek was elected to City Council in May 2009. Mr. Meek previously served on the Zoning Board of Adjustment from 2006-2009.
Mr. Meek has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Texas. He also has a year of Graduate Business at The University of Texas in Arlington. Mr. Meek is a retired Navy Captain and served his country for more than 30 years. His military tenure also included the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
Mr. Meek owns and has operated an insurance and financial services business since 1977. Mr. Meek is a member of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Meek and his wife Helen have lived in Highland Village since 2006. The Meek's have four children and nine grandchildren.
