Recycling

Please Prepare All Recyclables As Shown

Due to current market conditions, we are able to pick up the following recycling materials

Aluminum Cans	Please empty, rinse and crush
Tin Cans	Please empty rinse and crush
Glass (Clear, Brown, Green)	Please rinse clean and avoid breaking. Take off caps and rings Recycle beverage and food containers only. Do not save window glass, auto glass, cermaics, china, light bulbs or television tubes.
Plastics	Plastics #1-7 are now being collected. Please rinse, clean and remove caps and rings. Labels can stay on. No plastic bags or styrofoam.
Steel Paint Cans	Paint cans must be empty and dry. A thin skin of paint on the inside is okay. Lids should be removed and placed in the bin.
Aerosol Cans	Cans must be empty. Remove plastic lids and spray nozzles.
Newspaper	If it is a damp day or look like rain, please save newspapers, phone books and magazines until the next collection day. Glossy inserts can also be recycled. Place dry newspaper phone books and magazines next to your Blue Bags in a paper grocery bag.

Note

Books are not part of the recycling program and cannot be collected at this time.
Recycle trucks will not pick up wet newspapers. Please put in regular trash can.
Solid waste trucks will not collect any recycling items in blue bags. (ie contaminated newspaper, unaccepted plastic, etc.)
