The contractor has started the installation of the new manhole that will divert the 15-inch wastewater line, that was damaged during the washout of Highland Village Road, to the 27-inch wastewater main.  The contractor will be working through Saturday.  Once the new manhole is constructed, this will eliminate the need for the by-pass pumping that we are currently required to do.  Also, survey crews for Halff Associates, Inc. have been collecting data information for the ultimate reconstruction of Highland Village Road.  As of Friday the County has not selected a contractor for the construction, as they are still in the interview process.
