The Highland Village Senior All-Stars are Preparing Care Packages for the US troops

The Highland Village Senior All-Stars are preparing Care Packages to send to US troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. “We took on this project last year and the response was so great we decided to do it again this year,” said Highland Village All-Star Pat Brown who’s heading up the project. The All-Stars are accepting donations of non-perishable items until August 30. Items such as batteries, disposable razors, mouthwash, snack mixes and toilet paper can be dropped off at the Highland Shores Community Center at the corner of Highland Shores Boulevard and Community Center Drive in Highland Village on Mondays and Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. and noon.
