Developer Withdraws Request for Multi-Family Units

The developer of the District of Highland Village, Mike Silvaggio, has submitted a letter of withdrawal for Ordinance 07-1023. The proposal included an amendment to approximately 5.274 acres of the existing concept plan to allow 140 multi-family units. The Planning & Zoning Commission considered the proposed amendment at their meeting on December 21. The item was unanimously denied.
A public hearing was held at the December 21 Planning & Zoning meeting and published for the January 11 City Council meeting as well. Therefore the ordinance and public hearing must be included on the agenda for the January 11 City Council meeting. The public hearing will be conducted due to state law posting requirements.
