Early Voting Begins April 27

Early voting for the May 9 election begins on April 27 and concludes on May 05, 2009.  Highland Village residents will only be able to vote at the Municipal Complex, 1000 Highland Village Road. The hours of the polling place during early voting are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with extended hours of 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on May 04 and 5.

Council called a general election to elect persons to Council places 3, 5 and 7. Additionally Council called a special election to consider 24 proposed amendments to the City Charter and a binding referendum to extend the hours for the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.
