The delivery of the new recycling carts to our citizens has been completed.  The City received the 35 gallon carts at 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. With the help of streets, utilities, drainage and maintenance staff the 200 - 35 gallon carts were assembled in 30 minutes and delivery began at 4:00 p.m. to the individual residents that requested the smaller cart.  As the residents received the 35 gallon cart they were instructed to have their larger cart at curbside by 7:00 a.m. Friday for collection by staff, which was completed before noon.  The use of the carts is a real plus for Highland Village's recycling program and anticipate increased recycling participation by our citizens.
