Law Enforcement Teaching Students (LETS)

Law Enforcement Teaching Students (LETS) is a program adopted from Dallas Police Department and is an expansion of the former DARE program taught in our schools.

School Resource Officer, Corporal April Roppolo, with the assistance of other officers and Police Auxiliary members, teaches LETS at each of the schools in Highland Village.

In addition to the discussions on the dangers of drug and alcohol use, how to avoid peer pressure and how to identify drugs, students also learn about the Six Pillars of Character.

  Six Pillars of Character

Officer Roppolo has many books, handouts and displays to transport to her LETS classes including Rosie the Robot .

Contact Corporal April Roppolo for more information about the LETS program.
