Road Construction

FM 407 - Briarhill Boulevard to Chinn Chapel Road

The bid process for the widening of FM 407 from approximately 600' west of Briarhill Boulevard to approximately 600' west of Chinn Chapel Road (through the Highland Village city limits) has been delayed until all right-of-way (ROW) has been acquired and utilities relocated. The projected eligible bid date is now August 2009. If all issues are resolved in a timely manner, TxDOT could move that date up. This is a TxDOT and Denton County project. The City participates in the Precinct 3 meetings held by Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell and TxDOT. Click here for the most up to date information on area road projects.
