Connect-CTY

What is Connect-CTY?

Connect-CTY is a mass notification system that is sometimes referred to as "Reverse 9-1-1".  This system allows us to contact all businesses and residents in the community within minutes in the event of an emergency.  

How are we using it?

As part of our Emergency Operations Response Plan, this system is going to be used in conjunction with our Outdoor Warning Sirens.  Based on weather reports from the National Weather Service, our goal is to initiate a Connect-CTY call when severe weather conditions headed towards our community are no less than twenty (20) minutes out.  Once the phone call is initiated, the Outdoor Warning Sirens may be activated.  

Are you registered with Connect-CTY?

If your home phone is a published number, you should already be in our system.  If you have an unpublished number or do not have a "land line" in your home, you can register your contact information by clicking the button below.  You may also use this button if your home number is already registered and you would like to add additional contact information (such as cell phone or email address).

 

 

 By registering with Connect-CTY, you can also receive messages about special events in the City, as well as notifications from the Police Department in the event of criminal activity, missing children and much more!
