Bill Irwin was elected to Council in May 2010. He previously served on Council from May 2001 until May 2003. Mr. Irwin also previously served as Chairman of the Highland Village Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, as Chairman of the Highland Village Board of Ethics, and was the founding Chairman of the Highland Village Parks Foundation Board. He is also a Lifetime Honored member of Texas PTAs. Mr. Irwin currently serves as Vice-President of the Highland Village Community Development Corporation (4B Board).
Mr. Irwin and his wife, Kay, moved to Highland Village in 1988 with JCPenney Company. Mr. Irwin currently works as Corporate QA Manager for Michael's Stores Inc. Mr. Irwin and his wife Kay, who is the school nurse at Heritage Elementary School, have been married for 33 years. The Irwins are members of the Lake Dallas Church of Christ. They have two children and four grandchildren.
