Bike Rodeos

Each year, specially trained police officers conduct bicycle safety courses at each of the schools in Highland Village.

These officers teach children how to wear their bicycle safety helmets, where to safely ride their bike and what do do when they have any problems.

Bike Rodeos have been a big success.  Our goal is to teach children the safe way to ride bicycles and to wear their safety helmets anytime they get on the bike.

The Bike Officers, with the help of members of our Police Auxiliary, will also perform bicycle safety inspections and will distribute bicycle registration cards.
