Animal Care Services

Animal Care Services is now a part of the Police Department. Our current Animal Care Officer is Michelle Burke. Animal registrations are no longer obtained at City Hall unless prior arrangements are made with Animal Care.

Hours of Operation

Animal Care Services hours are 8am until 5pm on Monday through Friday. After hours responses are available for emergency situations.  If you need to contact Animal Care Services, you can call the Police Department (which is manned 24 hours a day) at 972-317-6551. Our animal housing facility is located at 2810 Justin Road (Animal Medical Center of Highland Village) but please make advance arrangements for the Animal Care Officer to be on site if you wish to speak directly with her or to adopt or pick up an animal.
