City Manager's Weekly Update

On Friday, November 9 we had the privilege of honoring our local Veterans at the HVBA Salute our Veterans luncheon. The annual luncheon is a time of fellowship and camaraderie with other Veterans as well as the forum for awarding Congressional Commendations to five local Veterans by Congressman Michael Burgess. The highlight of the luncheon each year is the “Salute” where we pass the microphone around to all of the Veterans in attendance allowing them to introduce themselves and tell the attendees a little bit about their time in service. We are truly humbled and honored to host so many amazing Veterans at the luncheon.
